Enterol 250 mg is an oral antidiarrheal probiotic containing Saccharomyces boulardii, a beneficial yeast that helps restore gut balance and support digestive health. It is widely used for the treatment and prevention of diarrhea in both adults and children, particularly in cases related to bacterial infections, antibiotic use, and enteral nutrition.

Saccharomyces boulardii works by restoring the natural balance of good bacteria in the intestines, helping to combat harmful microorganisms, and promoting healthy gut function. Each sachet contains 250 mg of freeze-dried Saccharomyces boulardii, a yeast strain that is resistant to stomach and intestinal juices, ensuring its effectiveness in the gut. It has antibacterial activity against Candida albicans and inhibits the effects of bacterial toxins. As well, it produces B vitamins, which support gut and overall health.

The recommended dosage for Adults & Children: 1–2 sachets per day. The sachet contents should be mixed with a small amount of liquid and consumed immediately. Not recommended immediately after meals.

Side Effects. Generally, Saccharomyces boulardii is well tolerated, but some mild gastrointestinal symptoms like bloating or gas may occur.
